Fall Family Weekend is held in conjunction with Auburn's Homecoming on September 25-27, 2026. It's an incredible weekend filled with fun activities, including a parade, pep rally, Homecoming football game, and more.

The Fall Family Weekend Tailgate Sponsored by Regions Bank takes place Saturday, September 26 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Many events are open to all, but the tailgate is a ticketed event.  With over 3,500 family members attending, it’s the largest tailgate on the Plains!

This is a fun event with an opportunity to meet other Auburn families while you enjoy a traditional southern BBQ, dance with a local favorite, DJ Ozz, and take a photo with our beloved mascot, Aubie.

Check-In for the tailgate will occur Friday, September 25 from 2-4 p.m. at the Campus Recreation Sportsplex at 811 Lem Morrison Drive and 2-5 p.m. at Cater Lawn. Check-in also takes place the day of the event on Saturday, September 26 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Cater Lawn.  

Menu for the event includes:

  • BBQ chicken or pork
  • Macaroni and cheese, slaw, baked beans, and house-made potato chips
  • Cookies and brownies
  • Canned soda and bottled water

Tailgate Registration

Tickets to the Fall Family Weekend Tailgate are officially sold out.

To accommodate all registered guests comfortably and safely on Cater Lawn, we are unable to sell additional tailgate tickets or increase attendance beyond our current capacity limit.

Family Weekend Gear

T-shirts and tumblers can be purchased during registration and picked up at check-in, either on Friday, September 25 at the Auburn Sportsplex and Cater Lawn, or on Saturday, September 26 at the tailgate on Cater Lawn.
