Jule Collins Smith Museum of fine Art

Auburn University's art museum, The Jule, is a local museum with a global outlook, with a location and programs that bridge campus and community. The Jule is home to the university art collection; serves as a teaching, research and learning hub for Auburn faculty and students; and regularly rotates exhibitions and engagements, so there is always something new to explore.

What's Brewing at AU & New Realm? A Brewery Tasting and Tour

Join us for a unique opportunity to learn all about Auburn’s one-of-a-kind teaching brewery run by New Realm Brewing Co. on campus. Meet Head Brewer, General Manager, and Adjunct Professor at AU Brew Drew Kostic. He will guide you on a 20-minute tour of the only brewery in Auburn and discuss what makes New Realm and its beer so special. Then join AU Brew Masters Student and Taproom Manager Marty Malfroid in a guided tasting of three of New Realm Auburn’s exclusive beers as you learn about the flavor and history of the styles. Our Auburn Family: Stories That Shaped the Plains, Sam Hendrix

Enjoy an engaging presentation by local historian and retired Auburn staff member Sam Hendrix, author of Auburn: A History in Street Names. Sam will bring Auburn’s legacy to life through powerful stories of the people who helped shape the university into the beloved institution it is today. Attendees will gain a deeper appreciation for the Auburn Family and the enduring spirit that connects generations of students.

Fall Family Weekend Early Check-in

COST: Free
LOCATION: Auburn Sportsplex and Cater Lawn
DATE/TIME: Friday, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Auburn Sportsplex) and 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. (Cater Lawn)

Families can check in early Fall Family Weekend tailgate at one of two locations: Cater Lawn or the Auburn Sportsplex. Parking is available at the Sportsplex. During check-in, families will be able to pick up wristbands for the tailgate, as well as t-shirts and tumblers. Students are welcome to pick up these items for their families.

Jordan-Hare Stadium Tours

COST: $25
LOCATION: Jordan-Hare Stadium
DATE/TIME: Friday, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most iconic stadiums in college football! Parents and family members will meet at Gate 9, located near the tiger statue and the statues of Pat Dye, Cliff Hare, and Shug Jordan, for a guided tour lasting approximately one hour to one hour and 10 minutes, a memorable way to explore the stadium before gameday. Tickets will be purchased the day of the event at Gate 9.

One of Auburn’s most popular fall programs, the Auburn University Raptor Center’s Football, Fans, and Feathers offers fans the opportunity to see a raptor show where they will experience birds of prey eye-to-eye and watch as they swoop overhead.

Distilled Spirits 101 (Distilled Beverages Tasting)

Experience a taste of John Emerald Distilling Company’s great lineup of distilled spirits. This local distillery offers exquisite options of rum, single malt whiskey, bourbon, gin and liqueur. Guests will learn about the distilling process and unique characteristics of each of these beverages made here in Opelika, Alabama. Light snacks will be served. Guests must be 21 or older. Intro to Wine Tasting

Auburn professor, Dr. David Martin, will guide you through approachable techniques for tasting wines while dispelling common myths. You will leave with a better understanding of your likes and dislikes and how to confidently utilize that knowledge the next time you order or shop for a bottle to enjoy. Light snacks will be served. Join the College of Liberal Arts for tailgating during the 2025 football season. All CLA students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are welcome! FREE ADMISSION! The tailgate opens 3 hours before kickoff and closes 1 hour before the game. Food and beverages are available for registered attendees.

Kick off gameday at the annual Fall Family Weekend Tailgate hosted by the Auburn University Parent & Family Association. Eagle Flight
