In 2017, the Auburn University Parent and Family Association began identifying faculty and staff who have had a positive impact on Auburn students or their families. The award recipients demonstrate what it means to be an Auburn person and exemplify the values of the Auburn Creed.

Honorees are nominated by the parents and families of those they teach, mentor, support, and serve – the students. Families and students are encouraged to identify faculty or staff members who have been especially supportive or influential in promoting their success.
