Student Assistance
Auburn Cares
Located in suite 1206 of the Melton Student Center, Auburn Cares works with students to aid them in the successful navigation of challenging, personal life issues, critical incidents, hardships, and emergencies that may impede a student’s success and retention at Auburn University. In addition, Auburn Cares serves as an advocate, liaison, or resource to students and families during times of student distress, need, or emergency.
Cross Cultural Center for Excellence
The Cross-Cultural Center for Excellence is located in suites 2101 and 2103 of the Melton Student Center. The primary focus of the Cross-Cultural Center for Excellence (CCCE) is to ease the social transition of underrepresented students to Auburn University. The CCCE provides programming and activities for student engagement, facilitating cross-cultural learning experiences where all students can engage in dialogue, develop leadership skills, and build collaborative relationships that will help them be effective in an increasingly global society. Though the focus of the CCCE is to support and celebrate specific affinity groups, including African American/Black, Asian American, American Indian/Indigenous, Hispanic/Latinx, International, LGBTQ+, and faith communities, all are welcome to participate in CCCE events, programs, and services. Lost & Found
The Melton Student Center Lost & Found is located in suite 3231. All items are held for four weeks and one day. The finder may claim the item or it will become the property of the Melton Student Center. For questions, please call 844-1300.
Police Substation
In the case of an emergency, please dial 911. A police substation is located on the first floor of the Melton Student Center, next to the Tiger Transit office.
Student Conduct
Located in suite 1206 of the Melton Student Center, the Office of Student Conduct is responsible for addressing non-academic violations of University policy through the Code of Student Discipline and the Student Organization Code of Conduct. The OSC provides a fair, impartial, and educational student conduct process for students and student organizations, as well as involved parties, charged and associated with violations. Additionally, dean’s certification requests are processed through the Office of Student Conduct.
Study Spaces
Throughout the Melton Student Center, study and lounge space is available for students, including a designated quiet study space on the third floor.
Tiger Transit Office
The Tiger Transit office is located on the first floor of the Melton Student Center across from Jordan-Hare Stadium.
