About the Melton Student Center
With over 184,000 square feet, the Harold D. Melton Student Center is the family room of the university and provides places for students to congregate, eat and study. Last year, nearly 2 million people visited the Melton Student Center while they were on campus.
The Harold D. Melton Student Center is the Auburn Family’s home away from home. The Student Center strives to provide an environment conducive to student success. Some of the services available include: James E. Foy Information Desk, ATMs, food venues, game lounge, TV and study lounges, and email kiosks. The Melton Student Center also offers a variety of meeting rooms, ballroom, event space and outside space that serves students, departments and the general public.
Our Mission
The Melton Student Center provides services and facilities that support the social, personal and intellectual development of individual students and groups of students. This is accomplished through structured activities, programs and resources. Well-maintained and secure facilities are also provided to students, faculty, staff administrative professionals, administrative and academic departments, groups, alumni and the community. This objective supports the instructional, research and outreach missions of Auburn University and enhances the overall educational process for students.
