Choosing the right meal plan at Auburn starts with understanding how you like to eat. Dining Dollars work like a debit card and can be used across all campus dining locations, from dining halls and retail spots to food trucks, concessions, and vending machines. They roll from fall to spring and expire after summer, while Optional Dining funds never expire, giving you flexibility to add more anytime.
First-year students are automatically enrolled in an Orange Plan, designed for convenience and consistency. If you prefer structure, weekly plans (5 or 10 meals per week) offer a set routine with added Dining Dollars for snacks and meals on the go. If flexibility is your priority, All Access plans provide unlimited entry to dining halls seven days a week, making them ideal for students who want the freedom to eat whenever it fits their schedule.
Returning students have even more options. Blue Plans are great for those who want a balance, offering a set number of meals per semester plus Dining Dollars for additional flexibility. Off-campus students may prefer White Plans, which focus more on Dining Dollars for quick meals, coffee, or snacks, with the option to add a smaller number of dining hall meals if desired.
No matter your schedule, there’s a plan designed to match how you eat. By considering how often you’ll visit dining halls versus grab food on the go, you can select a plan that offers the right mix of convenience, flexibility, and value.
