Auburn Highlights
I'll be honest, I didn't think I would love Auburn as much as I do! I really enjoy the hometown feel of the campus and the city. The campus is small enough to feel at home, but it also offers so much for those seeking an excellent education. I didn’t know much about Auburn before Zachary expressed interest, but I’m so happy he came! He’s really blossomed here. He is currently the President of the Black Student Union and a member of a fraternity. For anyone with doubts, feel free to reach out to me!
Tips
Set up a specific time and day each week to talk to your student—especially if they’re boys! I missed my son and wanted to talk daily, but he didn’t feel the same. Eventually, we agreed to chat every Sunday at 3 p.m. Having that established time helped me look forward to our weekly conversations.
