Auburn Highlights

I love Auburn's downtown at anytime and Opelika's downtown for dinners and evenings. I love to walk across campus – especially from Toomer's across the lawns at Samford and Cater Hall and along the concourse outside of Haley Center. I also love Tiger Walk, the eagle flight, and game day flyovers. I enjoy eating downtown at Moe's or the Hound and sitting at the bar at the Auburn University Hotel and Dixon Conference Center.

Tips

When they first went away, I would remind my kids how much their grandparents enjoyed an occasional call, text, or photo. I found them receptive, and it resulted in fairly regular communication between them. In fact, sometimes my parents knew more than me about my kid's activities. If your kids tend to lose things, get a "tile' and place it in their wallet and/or key chain. By doing so, they won't call you in a panic because they lost their keys or driver's license.
