Greek Excellence Awards
The Auburn Greek Excellence Awards program is hosted by Greek Life and recognizes the Greek community for their ongoing achievements and contributions to Auburn University and the local community. Awards are presented each Spring to outstanding students, chapters, and advisors who showcase exemplary work in the core values of scholarship, community, service, and philanthropy.
Chapter Awards
The Chapter of the Year award is presented to one chapter from each governing council. This award focuses on organizations that demonstrate a commitment to Greek Life values of scholarship, community, service, and philanthropy. In addition, these chapters also prioritize the health and well-being of their members through efforts in risk management, facility operations, and member wellness.

This award recognizes a chapter's outstanding dedication to member safety and responsible decision-making. The recipient of this award has established a practice or program for its members that focuses on a proactive approach to preventative measures.

This award recognizes a chapter that is intentional with members serving the local and/or surrounding communities. The recipient of this award encourages chapter members to volunteer their time to make a positive impact through community service.

This award recognizes a chapter that shows exceptional dedication to a philanthropic cause. The chapter event or program substantially impacts the participants through engagement and education. This award will be evaluated on impact, not dollars raised.

This award recognizes a chapter that emphasizes the value of education for its chapter members. The recipient of this award has established a practice or written program that supports the values of academic success and helps the chapter maintain high academic performance.

This award recognizes chapter(s) that have consciously collaborated with another Greek organization(s). The recipient of this award demonstrates efforts to contribute to developing a supportive and inclusive Greek environment.

Individual Awards
This award recognizes a fraternity and sorority community member dedicated and committed to improving and leading the Auburn University Greek community through their chapter or council involvement. This award focuses on an individual whose impact on the Greek community has inspired and motivated others for the betterment of Auburn. Named in honor of Auburn Harbert College of Business and Delta Chi alumnus, the recipient of this award embodies values of service, leadership, and mentorship in their chapter and across campus, carrying on the legacy created by O.D. Alsobrook.

This award honors a fraternity or sorority member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership across multiple areas of their chapter and council involvement. It recognizes continued service and a lasting commitment to the betterment of the Auburn University Greek community through executive leadership. Named in honor of Anna Funderburk Buckner, an Auburn alumna and initiate of the Alpha Beta Chapter of Chi Omega, the recipient of this award reflects Anna’s legacy of lifelong service, leadership, and dedication to Greek Life. From her time as chapter president in 1992 to her current role as National President of Chi Omega, her contributions span decades of mentorship, governance, and advocacy, making her a role model for generations of Greek leaders.

This award recognizes a chapter president who went above and beyond in their duties as a leader. Award recipients are chapter presidents with strong leadership skills who made a significant difference in their chapter during their term and have demonstrated the values of the Greek Life values of scholarship, community, service, and philanthropy.

Nominees demonstrate their commitment to the chapter they advise by upholding the organization's values and holding members accountable to organizational expectations.
Grant Davis Interfraternity Council Advisor of the Year
Named after retired Auburn University Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Beta Theta Pi alumnus, and long-time supporter of Fraternity life, this recognition is awarded annually to a Fraternity Chapter Advisor who goes above and beyond his call of duty. This award goes to an individual who has put forth effort and exemplary service to the Greek system and institutiom.

Jill Moore Martin Panhellenic Sorority Advisor of the Year
Honoring Jill Moore Martin, former Panhellenic Advisor and Director of Greek Life at Auburn University and champion for the Greek Life experience. This recognition is awarded annually to a Sorority Chapter Advisor who, like Jill, strives to establish a legacy for future generations of Auburn women through dedicated and passionate service.
