General Individual Award Eligibility (Student)
  • Nominees must be in good standing with Auburn University.

General Individual Award Eligibility (Advisor)

Submissions should demonstrate how these values are actively upheld and promoted within your chapter or by the individual nominee.
  • Impact and Innovation
Successful submissions will showcase creative approaches to programming or leadership, demonstrate measurable outcomes that have a real impact, and clearly align with your organization's values.
  • Documentation

Tips for Great Submissions

Start Early

Crafting a strong award submission takes time! Be sure to give your executive team time to work on their submissions and schedule regular check-ins as you go.

Delegate to your Team

Don't leave all the work to one person. Divide up awards based on officer areas of expertise. Work together as a team and review each other’s work before making the final submission.

Apply Strategically

Focus your efforts on where your chapter shines most. It is better to submit a few strong applications than to submit many sub-par ones. Quality over quantity!

Provide Great Supplemental Documentation

Don't leave all the work to one person. Divide up awards based on officer areas of expertise. Work together as a team and review each other’s work before making the final submission.

Follow the Criteria

Strong submissions address all parts of the award’s criteria. Before hitting submit, double-check that you’ve answered every question thoroughly.

Ask for Help

The Greek Life staff are here to help! Whether you need help brainstorming, organizing materials, or proofreading your submission, don’t hesitate to reach out for support.

Have Fun

The Greek Excellence Awards are meant to celebrate the best the Auburn Greek Community has to offer! Proofreading is important, but don’t leave out your personality and enthusiasm.
