Auburn National Pan-Hellenic Council Hosts Tiger Stomp 2025

Annual step competition highlights unity, culture, and excellence.

On October 17th, the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at Auburn University delivered an electrifying Tiger Stomp, an evening of rhythm, unity, and school spirit at the Student Activities Center. Co-hosted by Auburn’s Black Student Union (BSU), the highly anticipated event brought together 425 attendees, including 258 Auburn students, and raised $2,963.24 in support of NPHC programming and scholarships.

Held every fall semester, Tiger Stomp brings students, alumni, and the university community together for a friendly competition that highlights the culture and heritage of the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s organizations through stepping and strolling. Members of Auburn’s NPHC fraternities and sororities formed step teams to compete for first, second, and third place titles, showcasing precision, creativity, and school spirit in an electric atmosphere.

This year’s lineup featured creative and standout  performances from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., each showcasing their distinctive style and chapter pride. During intermission, Aubie took to the stage for crowd interaction and photos, keeping the audience energized before the final performances.

"The members of Auburn’s NPHC pour countless hours, energy, and heart into making Tiger Stomp a powerful celebration of unity, culture, excellence, and fun. For the tight-knit community of students they uplift, this event isn’t just entertainment—it’s a moment of pride, visibility, and belonging in their community that echoes far beyond the stage,” shares Dominic Summerhill, Assistant Director of Greek Life.

After an evening of dynamic routines and close competition, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. earned 1st place, followed by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. in 2nd place, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in 3rd place.

The $2,963.24  raised from the event will go toward NPHC initiatives, scholarships, and future programming that promote leadership, education, and service across campus.
