Auburn's Own Tri Delta Crowned Miss Auburn University 2026
Tri Delta senior recognized for leadership, service, and inclusion as she earns Miss Auburn University crown.
Auburn University's Panhellenic community is delighted to congratulate Ashlyn Powers (Delta Delta Delta) on being crowned Miss Auburn University 2026, following a remarkable performance in the annual Miss Auburn University Scholarship Competition held on October 3 in the Student Activities Center.
As a senior majoring in Business Management, Ashlyn competed against 11 other contestants in a multi-category pageant showcasing talent, evening gown, interview, health & fitness, and on-stage conversation.
Ashlyn’s talent presentation was energetic and memorable, as she performed a drum solo to “Wipe Out” by The Surfaris. Her service platform aims to educate the Auburn community on ableism and foster inclusion of persons with disabilities across campus. During the on-stage conversation segment, she emphasized how Auburn students can promote belonging through education and partnership with local organizations.
“Winning Miss Auburn University has been such a blessing, and I’m so thankful for the friendships and community that Auburn Greek Life has given me. The support I’ve found in Tri Delta and Panhellenic has shaped me into the woman I am today. I couldn’t have done it without these friendships!” shares Ashlyn.
As Miss Auburn University 2026, Ashlyn will represent Auburn in the preliminary to Miss Alabama in the Miss America system.
“Ashlyn Powers’ achievement as Miss Auburn University 2026 is not only a reflection of her personal excellence, but also of the values that connect all Panhellenic women at Auburn,” shares Panhellenic Coordinator Madeline Lewis. “Her leadership and dedication to inclusion embody the Panhellenic Creed, which calls us to uphold social responsibility, leadership, and service to our campus and community. Her achievement highlights the strength and influence of Panhellenic women who strive to make a difference at Auburn and beyond.”
