Aubie wins 11th National Championship
For the 11th time, Aubie the Tiger has won the national championship for collegiate mascots, beating 10 other Division IA schools at the 2024 Universal Cheerleading Association National Championships.
Aubie’s performance, titled "Aubie’s Great Escape Room," captivated the audience and judges as he skillfully navigated through an array of challenges, employing audio cues and props to enhance the experience.
Aubie attends star ceremony for AU alum Octavia Spencer
After more than two decades in the entertainment industry, Octavia Spencer was honored with the 2,742nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star-studded unveiling ceremony also included an appearance by Aubie the Tiger, the mascot of Spencer's beloved alma mater, Auburn University. Aubie, who can usually be found sporting a football jersey, dress up in a suit to support the famous Tiger.
