Student organizations are allowed to use any bank of their choice. Organization leaders should consult with their organization’s advisor to establish and manage a bank account. If a bank requests a letter from Student Involvement to open your account, please email involve@auburn.edu. Some organizations use the Auburn University Credit Union.

Student Involvement is not allowed to consult on taxes or non-profit status. You can obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the IRS. You will be notified of your EIN by mail. You must have this number before submitting funding requests to the Organizations Board (O-Board).
