Auburn Greek Life Releases 2025–2026 Community Report
New initiatives and strong outcomes underscore the impact of one of Auburn’s largest student communities.
Auburn University Greek Life has released its 2025-2026 Greek Community Report, highlighting a year marked by continued growth, expanded initiatives, and strong student achievement outcomes across the fraternity and sorority community.
With more than 10,000 students involved, representing 37% of Auburn’s undergraduate population, Greek Life remains one of the largest and most active student communities on campus.
This year, the community translated its size into meaningful, measurable impact. Greek students contributed more than 100,000 hours of service and raised over $2 million in support of philanthropic initiatives, while also maintaining strong academic performance, including a community-wide GPA that exceeds the undergraduate average. These achievements underscore a sustained commitment to student success, accountability, and purposeful engagement both on campus and in the broader community. During the fall and spring semesters, Greek organizations hosted an average of 66 events each week, creating opportunities for leadership development, service, and connection among members. The report also highlights the long-term impact of fraternity and sorority membership, with Greek-affiliated students reporting higher graduation, employment, and retention rates than both non-Greek peers and institutional averages. Greek students achieved an 82.3% four-year graduation rate, a 64.4% employment rate at graduation, an 87.3% employment rate six months after graduation, and a 97.5% first-year retention rate.
The 2025-2026 academic year also introduced new opportunities for involvement and connection across all three councils. The Interfraternity Council launched its first Serve Day, offering a new platform for hands-on service. The National Pan-Hellenic Council introduced Stroll-Fest at the start of the fall semester, enhancing visibility and campus engagement. The Panhellenic community continued to build on its momentum through record participation and national recognition, reflecting its continued growth and influence.
Across campus, Greek organizations remained highly active throughout the year, hosting events nearly daily and creating opportunities for leadership development, service, and community-building among students. From large-scale programming to chapter-level initiatives, the Greek experience at Auburn continues to evolve while remaining grounded in its core values.
“Greek Life at Auburn continues to play a vital role in advancing an exceptional student experience, with our students leading through service, scholarship, and meaningful engagement. This report reflects how our community contributes to a distinctly Auburn experience that positively impacts our campus and beyond,” says Lindsay Holdren, Director of Greek Life.
The full report provides a deeper look at membership trends, academic performance, philanthropic impact, awards and recognitions, chapter-level data, and the impact of the Greek experience, including graduation, employment, and retention outcomes from the 2025-2026 academic year.
