Student Activities Center

About

An exterior view of a multi‑story campus building with light-colored concrete walls and large glass windows along the ground level. Vertical blue architectural panels line the upper portions of the building. Leafless trees and landscaped shrubs are positioned along the front, with a grassy area and a wide paved walkway extending to the right. A lamppost and nearby campus buildings are visible in the background, indicating a university or institutional setting.

The Student Activities Center reopened in 2019 after undergoing a multi-million renovation that transformed it into a premier mid-size event space. The Student Activities Center offers 4 spaces that can be reserved for large events, meals, and meetings. Television screens are located throughout both floors of the building that can be used for event promotion.

Spaces

A large indoor event hall viewed from the back of tiered seating. Rows of fixed chairs descend toward an open floor area arranged with multiple round tables surrounded by chairs. At the front of the room, a wide stage is equipped with a large central projection screen and two additional screens mounted on either side. Stage lighting rigs hang overhead, and stairs with railings lead up to the stage from both sides. The space has a wood-toned floor on the main level and dark-colored walls around the stage, indicating a venue designed for banquets, performances, presentations, or large gatherings.

The most popular of the spaces in the Student Activities Center, the Auditorium is perfect for a wide variety of functions including awards banquets, large meals, speakers, and dances.
