Auburn Highlights

Being at the Kick Six with one of my kids for his first Auburn game; having our last child at Auburn now. I came to Auburn from Colorado and fell in love with the university, the town, and the people right away. The Auburn University community is truly a family, and while that term can often be overused, people understand it once they visit Auburn. Seeing people from Auburn around the country or even the world and simply saying "War Eagle" to one another makes you understand how that community extends everywhere and not just on campus.

Tips

Find subtle ways to stay in touch with your student often - even just a "good morning" text every day - while letting them learn to be independent. It is never too early to obtain housing for the next academic year (normally by the September or October of the current year). Take your student (or have them take you) to a new eatery every time you visit. There are a lot of great places to eat.
