Student Affairs Development Board

The purpose of the Student Affairs Development Board is to assist in identifying people who are interested in promoting and investing in the mission of engaging students, encouraging leadership, and preparing students for future success. The board will consist of alumni, parents, and friends who have the dedication, capacity, and influence to assist Student Affairs in implementing programs leading to one of the best student experiences in the nation.

Members will be asked to make an annual financial contribution to Auburn University Student Affairs that is meaningful and significant, as well as have the opportunity to work with the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and the development staff to identify people in support of Student Affairs programs and initiatives. The Student Affairs Development Board will meet two times a year, once during the fall semester and once during the spring semester, and will participate in working subcommittee groups.

Subcommittees include:

  1. Emerge leadership programs
  2. Student Affairs initiatives

The subcommittees will review and provide feedback on Student Affairs programs and initiatives relevant to its case for support. We encourage members to attend and participate in Auburn University Student Affairs events as appropriate and advocate on behalf of Auburn University Student Affairs.
