Each year, through the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, Auburn University recognizes the efforts of three outstanding individuals who represent our institution through their unsurpassed humanitarian leadership and contributions to the community.
Recipients of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award include one male and one female student from the 2022 graduating class as well as one non-student member of the campus community.
Faculty, staff, students and friends of Auburn University are encouraged to nominate individuals they believe are deserving of this prestigious honor. Nomination packets must be completed and turned in by Friday, Feb. 11 at noon.
Each nomination packet should include a letter of nomination, a resume or curriculum vitae and newspaper articles or other appropriate documentation that demonstrates their humanitarian leadership and contributions to the community.

Working through our network of 70 partner schools throughout the American South, we recognize, support and honor service-oriented college students as well as university faculty/staff members and alumni with demonstrated record of community involvement.”
