What brought you to Auburn?

I came to Auburn because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people. I also wanted to get away from home but not too far.

What do you hope to accomplish now that you have been elected as the NPHC President?

My biggest hope for this organization is to become a more prominent face on campus by doing more service projects and social events. I would also like to collaborate with other organizations to allow people various opportunities to meet others and form bonds.

What is your favorite Auburn tradition?

My favorite Auburn tradition would have to be callouts. I love how everyone has such supportive friends that come out to cheer them on and the excitement of your name being called is so beautiful.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is “Go for it.” These three words are the reason I have been heavily involved on campus because the worst thing that can happen is being told no. Never live life wondering “what if,” because you could potentially miss out on an opportunity to make great friends and connections! At the end of the day, many doors can open up for a person who decided to take a chance.

What is your favorite restaurant in Auburn?

My absolute favorite restaurant in Auburn is Shogun!

What is something people don’t typically know about NPHC that you wish they did?

I wish more people knew they can attend our events and support [us]. We would absolutely love for anyone to come to our events, ask questions and be involved in any way they can.
