Higher Education Student Association

The Higher Education Student Association is an organization made up of Higher Education graduate students who are resources for all graduates students, plan social events, and professional development meetings, but most importantly we are family.Most student in HESA are in the Higher Education program, although HESA supports any graduate students working Student Affairs roles.

The Higher Education program at Auburn University allows students to examine practices, policies, and current issues in Higher Education. This program is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to explore careers in Higher Education administration and student affairs. A unique aspect of the program at Auburn, is the ability to customize the students’ academic experiences to their needs and interests.

The class sizes at Auburn are small, taught by amazing faculty, and allow a diverse range of assistantship opportunities. The opportunities available allow students to become involved in research and provide practical and scholarly experiences for students.
