Welcome to the Placement for Graduate Assistants (PGA) hosted by Student Affairs. PGA is designed to facilitate the process of hiring graduate assistants in Student Affairs at Auburn University. Most of our students are looking to continue a career in the same field as or a similar field to their graduate assistantship. We are proud to provide a practical experience balancing education, practice, challenge, and support to help you reach your career goals while improving our programs.
Auburn University is situated on the plains of Alabama in Auburn, a quiet town with a population of 53,380. Unique shops and delicious eateries pepper downtown Auburn and more standard stores are located throughout the area for all your shopping needs. Auburn University was recently ranked 36th among U.S. public schools and 82nd nationally by U.S. News. The small-town community and friendly campus environment make Auburn University one of the best universities in Alabama. Most graduate classes are small and allow you to establish relationships with classmates and faculty. Establishment of these relationships is crucial as you begin networking and exploring professional career paths.
Applications for the 2022-2023 academic year will be available Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
PGA interviews will take place Friday, February 25, 2022. At this time, all interviews are scheduled to take place in person at Auburn University. Candidates should plan to attend interviews in person. Exceptions to in person interviews will be made at the discretion of the hiring departments.
